Every family's school years look different. The worry is the same.

Whether it is exam stress, a child who has changed, a new class, or the question of what comes after school, you do not need a perfect answer. You need a calm place to think it through, and someone who has spent twenty years on the educator's side of it.

Most help in the school years is built for the child: tuition, coaching, tests. Very little is built for the person who notices first and holds the house together. That is who Calm and Ready Moms is for.

Who it is for
Mothers of children in Classes 6–12. You, not your child, are the person we work with.
What happens
A free one-to-one call to listen, then a plan shaped around your child, and the materials to follow it.
What it costs to start
Nothing. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation.

Behind every school year is a mother holding it together.

You are usually the first to notice when something shifts, the one answering every question at the dinner table, and rarely the person anyone asks how she is coping.

  • You see the change first.

A quieter child, a shorter temper, a phone that never leaves their hand. You know something has shifted, and you would like to understand it before you respond.

    Behavioural issues

  • Exam seasons land on you too.

Tests and boards tighten the whole house. You want to help without hovering, and to know when to step back.

    Exam stressClass 10 & 12 board prep

  • Every new class rewrites the rules.

Class 6, Class 9, the jump from 10 to 11: each brings new demands, and you are working out how much to guide and how much to let go.

    Transition-related issues

  • Everyone has a view on what they should become.

Relatives, neighbours and the coaching-centre brochure all have an answer. You want the path to come from who your child is, and understanding aptitude is where that begins.

    Career path selection

What changes at home.

Not a different child. A calmer way of being alongside the one you have.

This is for you if…

  • You are the mother of a child in Classes 6–12, and something at home or at school is on your mind.
  • You would like to understand before you react.
  • You want a plan you can follow, not a pep talk.
  • You want your child's path to come from who they are.

And what it is not.

Not tuition
Your child's teachers and tutors stay in charge of subjects.
Not therapy
This is guidance for mothers, not medical or mental-health treatment.
Not a promise of marks
No one can honestly guarantee them, so we do not.
Not an aptitude test
We explain why aptitude matters and where to get it assessed.

Help your child choose a path that fits.

Streams and careers are big decisions made early, often on marks alone. We help you see your child clearly, their strengths, interests and marks together, so the choice comes from who they are.

Why aptitude matters: read the guide

Interests come in kinds, not just subjects.

A child who loves science might be a builder, a researcher or a carer. Knowing which kind of interest drives yours turns “they like science” into real options. Choose one to see where it can lead. On your free call, we help you see where your child sits.

Investigative: the thinkers.

Likes ideas and puzzles: asking why, testing, analysing, getting to the bottom of how something works.

A few of the paths it can lead to

  • Medicine and life sciences
  • Research
  • Data science
  • Pharmacy
  • Pure sciences

Its neighbours on the ring, Realistic and Artistic, are the closest kinds of interest. Most children are a blend of two or three.

Psychologist John Holland's RIASEC model, as an explanation only. This is not a test, and it is no substitute for an assessment by a qualified professional.

What you can do about it.

You do not have to work this out alone, or all at once. This is how we walk it with you.

  1. Start noticing early.

Class 8 or 9 is a good time to watch what comes easily and what keeps pulling your child back, well before a stream has to be chosen.

  2. Talk it through with us.

Book a free discovery call. We listen to what you have seen and help you make sense of it, in plain language and with your child's situation in mind.

  3. Get it assessed by a qualified provider.

We do not run or sell the assessment, and we do not name a provider. The checklist here tells you what to look for.

  4. Bring it home, without pushing.

We help you turn what you learn into a calm conversation with your child about the years ahead, and a plan you can follow.

What to look for in a provider

  • Run by a qualified psychologist or career counsellor
  • Uses an established, validated assessment
  • Explains the results to you in person, not only in a report
  • Looks at interests and context, not a single score
  • Never promises a guaranteed career or calls one stream the best

One child. Many paths.

Engineering and medicine are two good options among many, and a child who knows their strengths can choose any of them with confidence.

20 years of seeing the school years from the educator's side.

Hi, I'm Monika. I've spent two decades with students and parents through exam season. I know where students get stuck, and what helps them move forward. Now I bring that to mothers.

  • Teaching and guiding board-exam students
  • Working closely with Class 6–12 students
  • Coordinating senior-section academic work
  • Counselling students through exam pressure
  • Analysing academic performance patterns
  • Partnering with teachers and parents
“I understand what you're going through. I've seen this from the other side for 20 years. Here's what you can actually do.”

Questions moms ask.

Who is this for?

Mothers of children in Classes 6 to 12 who want to support their child with more clarity and less worry, whether the concern is exams, behaviour, a big change at school or choosing a path.

Do you work with my child directly?

The sessions are for you, the mother. You will come away with a clearer sense of what your child needs and how to support it, without taking over.

What happens on the free discovery call?

It is a conversation, one to one and online. You tell us what is on your mind and we listen first. Afterwards we put together a plan that fits your child and your home.

What is a tailored plan?

A plan shaped to your situation: how long it runs, what it covers and how often we speak. No two are quite the same, which is why we agree it with you after the call.

What is the help kit?

Learning materials that go with your plan. Our team shares them with you after your discovery call, matched to what you and your child need.

What does it cost?

The discovery call is free. For Class 10 and 12 board prep the plans and prices are on the pricing page. For every other service, pricing is shared after the call, once we know what your plan needs.

Is this therapy or tuition?

Neither. We do not replace your child's teachers, and this is guidance for mothers rather than medical or mental-health treatment. We also cannot promise particular marks or outcomes. What we offer is clarity, steady support and a calmer way through.

Do you run aptitude tests, and which one should we use?

We do not run tests and we do not name a provider. We explain why aptitude matters and what to look for in a qualified provider, and our aptitude guide sets out the research. Nothing on this site tests your child, and we collect nothing beyond your booking details.

However the school year is going, you don't have to figure it out alone.

Start with a free conversation. Nothing to prepare, and no obligation.
